Alastor's Song From The Hazbin Hotel
Alastor's capable of immense cruelty as he enjoys the suffering of others, noted by his amusement of the Great Depression, and the number of orphans that it caused. He also hates being touched, which was told by Vivziepop (the creator) in a stream. While eerily happy, he also doesn't hold back from how evil he is, as he stated to Vaggie that if he wanted to harm anyone in the hotel he would have done so already.
Alastor's Song from the Hazbin Hotel
Like his counterpart in the series, he is an affable and suave damned soul from the 1930s who spends his time desperately trying to find entertainment, which he often does by striking deals with desperate mortals so as to make their sould his eternal slaves in Hell once they die. The song focuses on Alastor as he strikes a deal with two new victims.
Charlastor is one of the most popular ships in the fandom, alongside Chaggie, and Husker Dust. It first accumulated during Alastor's reprise of Charlie's advertisement song for the hotel, "Inside of Every Demon is a Rainbow." Wherein he uses this song as a means to persuade her into giving into his offer, all the while pissing Vaggie off while taking Charlie by the hand to go have a dance with her, with one of the most notable parts being when Alastor tells her "Cus' you're one of a kind, a charming demon belle!".
Hazbin Hotel is an American adult animated musical series created by Vivienne "VivziePop" Medrano.[4][5] The series revolves around Charlie Morningstar, princess of Hell, on her quest to find a way for demons to be "rehabilitated" and allowed into Heaven. She opens a rehabilitation hotel that offers demons a chance at redemption and to be better people. The pilot, released to YouTube on October 28, 2019, was made entirely by freelance animators and was largely financed by Medrano's Patreon followers.[6][7][8] Its first season was produced by independent entertainment company A24.[9][10] By August 2020, the show had developed a dedicated fanbase,[11][12] with the 31-minute pilot receiving over 84 million views as of March 2023,[13] a rise from the pilot's 32 million viewers in May 2020.[14]
The series follows Charlie Morningstar (voiced by Jill Harris), the princess of Hell, as she sets about fulfilling her seemingly impossible dream of opening a hotel called the "Happy Hotel," which aims to rehabilitate sinners. Due to overpopulation, Hell goes through an annual purge once a year, where angels descend from Heaven and kill demons. Charlie finds this upsetting, and wants to find a more peaceful solution to the overpopulation problem. Her goal is to have her clients "check out" from Hell as redeemed souls and be accepted into Heaven.
The series' pilot episode has been critically acclaimed for its animation quality, music, and characters,[2][57] even by those who are more critical of the show itself.[58] Stephen Novak from The Oswegonian student newspaper praised the animation, writing, and characters in Hazbin Hotel. However, he criticized the songs, saying "while Hazbin Hotel will certainly not appeal to everyone, those who can appreciate good animation and fun characters will certainly find themselves tortured by what is likely to be a long wait until the next episode."[59] Another reviewer, Matthew Field, argued that the pilot was part of the "animation renaissance" on YouTube.[1] 041b061a72
